Officer Reports

A discussion was held concerning two law firms interviewed by Barbara Rowbotham, Tom Cassidy, and Sharon Dowling.

The two firms interviewed were Hollander, Goode and Lopez and Stevens & Goldwin.

Either firm was a good choice but the board had a better comfort level with Hollander, Goode and
Lopez. Both firms have a 30-day cancellation provision and no retainer fee. A motion was made by Dan Creedon to hire the Hollander, Goode and Lopez. It was seconded by Tom Cassidy. All approved.

Tom Cassidy presented a chart comparing the fire door replacement project from submitted proposals. Proposals were received from American Door ($30,101.36), Boca Raton Development ($32,412) and Trevor Contracting ($40,108). It was determined that Boca Raton Development was the best choice. Dan Creedon made a motion to select Boca Raton Development for the job. Barbara Elis seconded. All approved.

Tom Cassidy presented a chart comparing painting firms that submitted proposals for painting the lobby, door trim and window trim. Proposals were submitted by Silveria ($8,590), Flacks ($7,500), ACP ($9,070) and Force ($7,240). Force was recommended by Fred and Anna Enrico. Force added a bonus to also paint the trash rooms on each floor included in their price. Dan Creedon made a motion to select Force for the lobby painting project. Tom Cassidy seconded. All approved.

Sharon Dowling was asked to review the rules and regulations for clarity and consistency.

Adjournment

At 1:48pm Barbara Ellis made a motion to adjourn. Seconded by Dan Creedon. All approved.
